I've perused the forums to some extent but thought I might get some clarity on the subject of selling if I posted my own thread.
My husband and I purchased our points-based BG membership in 2006. We purchased a rather small started package - one of the every other year points types.
Unfortunately, my husband and I have separated and are in the process of divorcing. It is rather necessary to completely separate our fiscal and legal entanglements as soon as possible. To this end, I need to determine how best to dispose of our Timeshare. We still owe on the mortgage, most likely more than the small package is worth at this time. Frankly it was my husband, who grew up timesharing as a family with his parents, understands the system better than I do and always handled the arrangements. I need a crash course in how to go about selling the timeshare quickly, with the least amount of money out of pocket; I'm not sure renting is a possibility for me given the small size of the package and the fact that my husband used most of our points to go to Vegas after we separated. I've seen BocaBum post a number of times, so perhaps he or another knowledgeable member could help me out with a list of my options. I am willing to provide more info as requested if someone tells me what info would be helpful.
Thank you all so much in advance!
