Can anyone share what they received for attending Owner Updates?

Best thing was wife didn't have to attend. She hates those things. Feels like she's taking money from the poor salesman by knowing we are not going to purchase anything. I am a little less unsympathetic to the timeshare salesman lot, but still feel once someone knows about resale, forget the Visa gift card.

My wife also hates these things. She kind of feels the opposite though. She feels that the sales people are not doing service to us; they put us in a noisy room (and I can't hear in those type of conditions), never have the account info or the total points right and then waste our time with small talk and useless information. She doesn't feel what we are offered is nearly enough for us to put up with that.

And I personally hate those preloaded visa cards. They never work for me when the value gets low.
