Just got back from Mt. Loft and was very disappointed with the sales staff. I was told many disturbing things. First, I was told that they just received an E-mail from corperate that stated that any resale purchase would not include the charter benefits. Even if purchased from pinacle..........

Second, I was told that if I were to purchase a points deed from Christmas Mountain and Bluegreen went under, I was told "I hope you like Wisconsin"
    How rude!!!

Third, I was told that all resale points holders call a different phone number than charter members and will never get the reservation I want.

Fourth, I was told that Bluegreen was no longer selling the sampler package??

Fifth, I was told that Mt. Loft could not sell points deeds under 10,000 annual points, but When I told the salesman I wanted 8000 annual, he was glad to offer me an 8000pt package for $12,000.

Finally, I was told that every resale package takes over a year for transfer and most deeds have back taxes and maintenance fees attacked. Also many have leans attached. When I told the sales manager that all of this would have to be disclosed at closing, She really got upset when I stated that this is real estate law 101. Also the male salesperson finally gave up when I looked at my watch at 55min into the presentation and said "the clocks a tickin"

I am so very glad that I joined here and learned that these salespeople are not my friend.

    Thanks to all!!!, Bubba

Rude Sales Staff at Mtn. Loft

We too had a very bad sales pitch at Mtn. Loft last year. The lady sales rep was extremely rude to my wife and put the pressure to us to buy more points. I did not. I was so upset at this I contacted Bocca Bum to sell my BG points. He calmed me down and went on to explain a number of valuable points to ownership. We ended up buying more points from him and have enjoyed our stays at The Hammocks (Dec) and Lodge Alley (May). Wonderful courteous staff at both resorts. The staff at Lodge Alley had heard that there were some sales problems at Mtn. Loft. I think....just stay out of Mtn. Loft's sales office !!!
