With all the discussion on Lodge Alley Inn, I decided to call Bluegreen to check availability.
I found out that this resort has a ton of availability. So much that I booked a bonus time reservation just to check out the resort for the weekend of May 19-21.
And, I was able to book a 2 bedroom unit for July 22-29. Not bad for 3 months from check in. The majority of availability is for studio and 1 bedroom units.
The reservation person told me that it is a very popular resort and most people reserve 2 or 3 nights at a time. It is close to a lot of places, so 2-3 nights in Charleston is a good stopping point to go to other locations such as Myrtle Beach were Bluegreen has several resorts.
So, despite all of the discussion about buying a fixed week here, you really don't need to do that in order to book a decent reservation at this high quality resort.
I am Sam. Sam I am. Would you like some points with your green eggs and ham?
