  • Is this a good deal?

I tried to find a thread with pricing but no luck. A co-worker wants to sell 7000 eoy points. She is asking $2000. She said the m/f are $450/yr. Is this a good deal and are the m/f really that high?

I'd recommend checking out Boca Jim's website:
    Bluegreen - Home

He has biannual points for .05 and annual points for .10 .

Maintenance fees for 7000 every other year points are usually around $439.85. That is a lot of money for what amounts to 3500 points per year.

The good news is that as you add points in the right way, the maintenance fee per point decreases.

        7000 biannual: $439.85

        10000 annual: $681

        20000 annual: $1052.

So, if an owner has less than about 8000 annual points, it makes sense to add some cheap points to work down that maintenance fees. Otherwise, it's cheaper to rent points from other owners than to own them.
