    This is really nit picking, but it would of been nice if the search had been implemented using ajax, or some other asynchronous technology so the page doesn't have to fully refresh on searches.

      Did they take away the vacation location map?

      You can't find out 1) what resorts are in a state, 2) information about a resort without putting in a reservation date.

      All in all, big improvements with the site, but it still needs some fine tuning.

      Never mind, I found the info. I guess I was expecting it under the rest of the reservation section and not under the home tab.

        It would be nice to have a calendar with each resorts availability. Also being able to do the wait list thing online would be nice. This is a great feature that my husband and I have been waiting for since we bought Bluegreen several years ago. It was nice to be able to book without having to remember when the call center was open...

          First thoughts. Very easy to use and I like that it shows all unit sizes and styles available with required credits needed.

          Maybe a bug? I get the following message when searching the panhandle for Spring Break

          The resort you selected requires a full week stay with check-in on a specific day of the week. Click here to see a list of full week resorts and their designated check-in days.

          I am searching Check in 03/27/2010 C/O 04/03/2010 Saturday to Saturday and I have checked +/- 3 days because I do not know what day these resorts check in. I do see available units in may 2010

          Only negative so far is the +/- 3 Days it would be nice to search a month or two months at a time but if this is the worst we have to face I can live with it.

          I thought when I was searching earlier i had seen a few point values off from what they should be so I am going back in to check again.

              Terms and conditions if booking to bank a reservation

              6. Exchange Reservations
              Reservations that you wish to deposit with an exchange company follow strict guidelines and can only be reserved by calling 800.456.CLUB(2582). If you attempt to book a reservation online and deposit the reservation with an exchange company, your deposit will likely be declined and you may be required to pay a fee to modify your reservation.

              3. Cancellations and Changes
              All Points reservation cancellations and changes must be made by calling Vacation Services at 800.456.CLUB(2582). Cancellations and changes to Points reservations are not yet available online. Within 24 hours of booking: Cancellations and changes will NOT incur a fee and Points will be refunded.

              10 days or more prior to scheduled check-in: Cancellations made 10 days or more prior to check-in will incur a $50 fee and all Points used for the reservation will be refunded. Reservation changes will incur a $35 fee.

              Less than 10 days prior to scheduled check-in: Cancellations will not incur a fee but will forfeit all Points used for the reservation.

                I think those are club assoc. resorts. They usually have a Sat-Sat requirement although some resorts I have seen (not BG) have Fri-Fri or Sun-Sun. It isn't uncommon for the associate resorts in Florida.

                  I can't sign on today at all. 1st it said my email and password don't match...then it won't let me re register....then, it just went to a gobbly gook error screen. I'm guessing they are still working, and it's really not my problem???

                      Online reservations a plus but..........

                      When searching issues I see that would be nice to have:

                      1) search results look to only comeback if one unit meets the exact criteria flex 3days is nice but it moves both dates and still can result in not available if you try to spit between the two inputs.

                      2) related to 1- We are going to a resort where we wanted 4 days only way to get was between two units. Be nice if you could enter a date range and ALL available possible opennings could be displayed for the resort even if it involved either a change of accomodations or modifying your original date targeted.

                      3) search for a date range against all available resorts/ I want to go third week of September what is available accross Bluegreen. Would be nice to be able to select resorts to include or exclude in a search like this also.

                      4) Look for any FRI-FRI, SAT-SAT weeks that are available to exchange if need be.

                      I like being able to make reservations on the site. I know sometimes these things can be a work in progress.

                      I just hope that Bluegreen goes the extra mile here to give us a world class reservation system that will serve us for years to come. I hope we as owners are the measuring stick that might drive the modifications to this initial on line reservation to become a model for others.

                      One thing I have seen on the state of Ohio, state parks camping reservation system is listed here:

                      1) When searching results are returned for all units available in this manner:

                      Fully available(fit your search criteria)
                      Partially availabilty( Some of your nights are available) or
                      No Availability meaning just that none available for any of your dates.

                      Along with this you can search forward or backward in two week increments looking at availability nightly for each campsite(unit) allowing person reserving the opportunity to narrow their choice to a successful match quickly.

                          sign on problem

                          I too am happy to hear about the new reservation info available on the B?G site....today is july 1 and for the last few days i have not been able to even sign on to the old site.....today it says under construction.......are others having this problem??......sorry for my inpatience in waiting for new site but I have been waiting for a long time thanks for any info......

                            Very handy. I just made plans for our tenth wedding anniversary next spring: 4 days in New Orleans, 4 days in Charleston. We adore LAI and he's never been to NO, so should be a great time. The online booking process was ridiculously easy!

                            Now we've got 2K points (1700 saved) to play with... I'm thinking perhaps a weekend in Williamsburg (although I know the hotel rooms are less than desirable)? Christmas weekend is available for 1400 points....

                              One small problem to report

                              I LOVE the new level of detailed information under the My Account tab. For each account it lists the account #, available points, expire date, point type, next earn date and next earn amount.

                              But if there are no points currently available in an account, it is omitted from this list. Those should be listed just so you can see the next year date and amount for all accounts.

                                Anita, I went to check my accounts. I have 5 accounts (which is why going to an owner's update never goes well-sales guys don't or can't find all the accounts), all accounts are showing up, with or without current points and also show up with the anniversary date and the points that will be awarded at that time. I show 8 listings to show all points listings for the accounts.

                                If you are not seeing something like that, maybe there is a problem in the transfer to the new format or something is not showing, or I don't understand what should be provided and when.
