  • How many of you are Bluegreen Premier owners?

Over the past few months, I have had a lot of owners upgrade to Platinum Premier. One just closed today and was thrilled to see that Platinum designation on their online account. I've even had many who went straight to Platinum on their initial purchase. That got me thinking. How many Premier members of all types do we have?

If you are a Premier owner, let us know what level you are. What are your favorite Premier features?

I'll start. I am a Platinum Premier and my favorite features are unlimited cancellation and changes without fees. And, the 3 free white weeks.

The 15 month waitlist is nice, but I don't use the waitlist much.

We are Silver and once that is paid off will look at our next level. Favorite feature would be the cancelation fees I guess. Can't wait to get to Gold or Plat cause then the house in Branson would be free.

      Platinum - Wait List

We are Platinum. The 15 month wait list is currently our favorite feature since my wife teaches and we are locked into the school calendar. Fortunately, we know when vacations will be a year or two in advance. But we can't travel during the times that we would really like to travel. Someday.....

We have only canceled twice in ten years so avoiding cancellation fees is not a big feature. However, in the future when health considerations, etc., might enter into the picture, then that might become important.

My wife and I are Silver members as well. We own 24000 points and love the Bluegreen vacation lifestyle. Boca Jim , I may be interested in going gold depending on what I can afford. How do i get in cotact with you ?? Also, do you sell Holiday Inn Vacation club Timeshare at Pinnacle as well??? We exchanged at Orange Lake resort in Orlando this june and absolutely loved it. We took the tour but did not buy but would love to buy second hand. Orange lake now has an agreement with Holiday Inn vacations. Holiday also bought The South Beach Resort in Myrtle beach(great resort) this past February and they plan to grow bigger by purchasing more resorts in this down economy. Can you help ????................

We are Gold, and enjoyed the free white week this year at Long Creek. The 5 reservation cancellation/modification without fees and the 14 month wait list are also important to us.

Yes, I can help you get Orange Lake for a song. There are zillions of units available. I am an owner there myself just to get around the 1 in 4 rule.

I'm silver, and I really like the no cancellation penalty. I used to use a lot of bonus time at Hershey but it's been so hard to get lately...people have caught on!

We are Gold, and like Charles, are tied to the school year for when we get vacations. Right now, I have more points than vacation time. I think as Gold, I have 5 cancellations per year, and did have to use 2 this year. Have not been able to use any free week, I have too many points to burn off.

Love Bluegreen, but not using it in the most efficient way right now.

Silver here. The best feature is the unlimited (now 3) free cancellation or changes. In the last couple of years we have more points than vacation time, because of favorable RCI exchange. Now getting high quality prime time RCI exchange with minimum BG points seems to be less and less likely, we may need more points once I exhausted my RCI deposits.

We are Silver members. The one feature/benefit I have used the most unfortunately were the no-charge cancellations (recently changed to 3 per year). Higher levels may be in the cards some day, but my current job at work makes it a little difficult to get away, and planning in advance is almost not even possible.

I'm a recent platinum ( 2 days ago) and my favorite feature is the 15 month wait list. I bought into BG in 2007 to be able to take my family on a once a year get together at The Wilderness Club at Big Cedar. I need 5 or 6 two bedrooms to accommodate the 35 of us. We bought in with 14,000 points and were shown that if we went in late May that 14,000 would be enough points. At that time if you booked for less the a full weeks you could only book 5 mouths out. Didn't take long to find out that wasn't going to happen. Luckily we did get into the Falls Village for our 2008 get together. In January of 2008 I bought 21,000 points from Pinnacle and the wait list got us into The Wilderness Club for our 2009 and for our next one in 2010. The 35,000 takes care of our family outing but didn't leave any points for trips for the wife and I, so I bought 16,000 points off of e-bay for almost nothing and then discovered Jim and me helped me buy and combine points so that I reach platinum. If you read this Jim, thanks again for all that you did. You really when way out of your way to help me.

The unlimited cancellation and changes without fees will certainly be great if I should need them. Also my wife and I are looking forward to using the 3 free white weeks.

                      Richard.

We're Silver, would love to upgrade to Gold one day but just not in cards right now. I would have to say the (3 free) cancellations, even though I have not used that feature yet.

We are relatively new to BG & timesharing, about 2-3 years now. Having some problems using our "rollover" points. I think right now we have 14,000 to use.

We are Gold Menbers , Last year we did a update and the saleman said that if we bought $55,000 point then we should of be OK when Bluegreen goes platnum. We'll I got some dumb luck here....... 5,000 points off. Does Jim know what it would cost to go platnum, those extra 3 white weeks would be sweet!

                              platinum

I'm platinum (thanks Jim), and I like the 15 month wait list because I'm partial to Shorecrest I in July and August. The no cancellation fees are excellent too.
