  • Traveler Plus Worth Keeping?

I have been a Bluegreen owner for a couple of years now and my dues are due on the Traveler plus and at this point I am not sure if it is worth keeping? I have checked on the airlines and found out there's no savings. I llike to fly SouthWest and Ding has cheap deals and I live out in the sticks so there is are no local restaurants. If anyone can see any benfit on me keeping this please let me know. Thanks Theresa

Have you looked into the Shell Select Connections resorts? Shell Connections and hotweeks are the only thing about Traveler's Plus that strike me as a good deal. One of the Shell resorts is in Door County, Wisconsin, which is difficult to trade into I've heard, but some Bluegreen owners have been able to reserve there and thought it very nice (one of them posted a review in the files section of the Bluegreen Yahoo group). They recently added two more Shell resorts to the list (Bluegreen owners only have access to some of them), one of them in New Hampshire.

And you can get discount locally on restaurants, and some services. Saving 20% when you eat out certainly helps out. Don't forget to check this when going on vacation too. Find restaurants in the area and if needed, print out the coupons before you leave.

You might want to check all the options under TP before you let it lapse. I'm not sure that you can reinstate inexpensively anymore.

Hot Weeks, World Hotels, Yacht club, etc., are all under it, along with Shell.
