We are going to be new member in the next couple of weeks and were ready to book our stay already at wilderness club in branson, mo. Can anyone help me out in which lodge to stay in or if i should try and get a cabin. We are going to try and go this coming summer with another couple. There will be 4 adults and 3 kids (6, 3, 3). I'm thinking i want to stay at the lodge that has the pool, pool slide, lazy river right beside it thinking that is what we will do when were at the lodge. Cabins look cool but i would like a good view of the lake and dont want to be in the middle of nowhere, were i have to walk to get somewhere. Hopefully i get my point by early or mid December and that will be soon enough to get a reservation for the first week of august. Any help would be great!

Correct.
It's one of the finest resort complexes anywhere and summer availability is very slim, except after Aug 15. It is an established very-popular resort with timeshare added in recent years.
Cabins are close to the lake, but with no lake view. A couple lodge buildings (the first 2 built) are lakefront and the more recent ones are up the hill to the right as you come in.RCI Member Since 24-Aug-1989/150-plus Exchanges***THE TIMESHARE GRIM REAPER~~~Exchanging/Searching/SW Florida/MO/AR/IA/Consumer Advocacy/Estate Planning/Sports/Boating/Fishing/Golf/Lake-living/Retirement****Sometimes ya just gotta be a dick

I booked my first week of Aug in Sept and was lucky to get a cabin. Bluegreen screwed up my original request. I had put in for a cabin 13 months in advance as allowed with gold membership, but someone recorded it for a Myrtle Beach resort and not Big Cedar. When the email came that I had gotten the Myrtle Beach resort, I was on the phone and getting things straightened out.
So, No, there is nothing that first week of Aug expect for studios, just as Lawren has already said.Don

Check for partial weeks
As of today (11/12) there are still some 2 bedroom cabins available in early August for 2 day stays, and lots of 2 bedroom lodge units available for 3 days. I didn't go any further than that. Obviously it is better to get your unit for the whole stay, but it is still worth a trip even if you have to move once.
