When buying a deeded week (Powhatan) from a third party, who can I call to verify the unit's status, point value (I think I know but want to double check), etc.?

Lots has changed since I used to do this, the person I used to deal with at Powhatan is long gone. You might call the resort and ask the Admin Assistant in the Manager's Office, but technically, they should not tell you anything without the owner's permission. Closing companies handle this with an estopple letter.

Just get the current owner to call the resort and give permission to give fnewman the information, that should work.

I've got the resort information needed. Now, I need to knwo who to call to get the proper procedure/form to transfer my new deed into my trust account. Anyone done that recently? TIA
