$$$ makes strange bedfellows. There can be no good blood between DRI and RCI after THE Club jumped from RCI to II, but there are still those resorts that have an RCI affiliation and depending on the scheme they were sold under, DRI still bulk banks those resorts with floating weeks.

In answer to your rental question, the summer 2BRs at Broome go for between 9500 and 10000 points. The average owner has, say, 10-15Kpts at an annual cost of 10.4cents/pt plus fixed fees of going on $500 for Trust overhead fees and Club fees. That means that those summer weeks you've shown for ~$700 would have cost the average owner ~$1500 (not counting the cost of capital invested, which for the retail buyer spending about $30K, calculated at say, 5%, is another $1500.) So, in truth, the retail owner, spends $3000.00 for that $700.00 Broome Park week available in RCI. So DRI members, cozy up to an RCI member and have a nice cheap vacation in England.

It's listed under an "R" code---that often indicates inventory that RCI is fronting for someone else as a rental agent.

As I pointed out, this is clearly not RCI member spacebankings. The resort is not even an RCI resort. It is II. This is DRI inventory.

Oh, absolutely. Gets in prospects for them to try to tell them how much better II is than RCI, in addition to how great THE Club is. Also, the cost to DRI if they're using points that members gave up for annual maintenance fees at 5cents/pt is $500.
