  • II Gold Benefits - access denied

    I just recently tried to use the new II site and while I can do exchanges or rent accommodations I keep getting kicked out of "The Community" and "Offers & Extras" section of the website with a message that I need to renew my membership.

    I will chase this down with II and Diamond but first I am wondering if any one else is having these difficulties or is it unique to my account?

    (I have reset my account info and password with II as requested by the new site, my dues to Diamond ar all paid up and I am a platinum member of The Club)

    Got the same message - either DRI hasn't sent the payment or II hasn't updated their records yet. Could be a problem for anyone trying to do an exchange.
    Let us know what you find out.

        As of yesterday, I had no problem accessing the site, but could still not get into the community section. It says my membership has expired. I went to the DRI site and checked my account, so I know my MFs have definitely been processed. I posted a note about the problem on DRIs forum and haven't heard anything yet.
        Have any DRI members had any problems making an exchange or purchasing a getaway since the beginning of the year?

          I just had the same experience and the same message. Also, when I tried to send an email to customer support, it wouldn't let me send it.

            Same here. Makes that extra money DRI raised our rates for a great deal, huh? I wish they'd lower the rates and get rid of "Gold" membership as it is practically worthless for most Club members. The only gold is my money leaving my pocket to them for no real value.

              I e-mailed Diamond at TheClub@DiamondResorts.com as suggested by II on January 6th to get this issue resolved but have yet to receive the courtesy of an acknowledgement or reply from Diamond. I will commence telephone tag next week and post my results.

                Thanks for your effort. I hope you can get to the bottom of this.

                I did notice after clicking onto the Community thread, there was of course a message that my membership had lapsed. However, at the bottom in small print was the note "Please note that our web team has been notified concerning this error."

                Could that mean that the problem is with II's new web program?

                  DRI seems to be exceptionally inept this year with MF processing. They did a similar thing to me. When I called them I was told they had not recieved my payment. I sent it with a return receipt so told them the date and time it arrived. I was told they would look into it and get back to me. It has been 4 days and no call or email from them asd well as no access to things on the website. If the company I work for had such poor customer service it would go under.
