T.R. & Single Malt -For the record, get your facts straight! I was not even involved with this discussion or the Poipu group until 2011, so your assertion that I created it, is the biggest bunch of bs that you have posted this week! Single Malt - yes, I will give you credit, some of your ideas made some sense & you did post that it probably was not feasible for the ideas that you had. I recognized that you did make the assertion prior to my earlier post, but some of your other ideas and ideas of others, are completely farfetched and should be described or exposed as such. And that's what did!

The internet site that I am involved with, obviously not the Piopu one since I didn't even know it existed before 2011, has the timeshareforums link on it and it was put on the same day that I was alerted about it by one of the moderators back in the winter of 2011.
Since I was in full compliance on my posts with the links regarding the other website, it did not occur to me that I needed to make a request to the webmaster (obviously not me, the so called creator..Lol) of the Poipu site to add the link to this site before posting the link to their site.

See BigFranks post below. It is or has been taken care of!

I guess when you come out of the closet and provide your name and the proof that you are in fact a Point at Poipu owner, you may find out a little more information about it, because it's obviously that you do not know even half of the details.

Again, what dumb esss would post a strategy on an open forum for the world to see.
I'm an open book, you can pm me or I'm pretty sure with all your wisdom that you already know how to contact me personally instead of staying anonymous. Anyone with a computer and 2 minutes to spare, has open access to me

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. And if you really believe that the Board of the Poipu owners group does not know this, then you really have not done your research into who is really involved with this group. You don't need votes to remove the stranglehold, but yes, strategy is the key to success. !

At least money spent on the Special Assessment will eventually end in a new resort.
I guess I answered your statement to this on the previous comment above.
Ina nutshell, like I have said many times on this forum "you are either part of the solution or part of the problem". And only you control what part you would like to be!

At least money spent on the Special Assessment will eventually end in a new resort.

Lol, yes you are correct, A new resort for Diamond Resorts International not the owners that they forced out after paying $40,000 for the right to enjoy a vacation with the duty of the board to protect their interest as written in the Program Documents.

Seriously, all of the posts set aside, do any of you believe that Diamond Resorts International, the AOAO & VOA are not in violation of the law?

BigFrank - until I get confirmation from the webmaster at the Point at Poipu, I will refrain from adding any link and/or signature. Thank you for clarifying my questions by pm.

I can't pm you because of the 2500 minute restriction that I received while trying to send you this information.

I just looked on the COPP Home Page website and you already had and still have a link on their website.
        Look under the "Action" tab and you will see the following links;

After you read this post and verify that you are in fact linked to the site, you will most likely need to delete this post because I am not sure each and everyone of the links have a link back to your website. (And "no" I have not created any of these other sites.LOL)

I'm not here to attack or defend because it's simply not my pastime. Although some of the posts I read are entertaining and some of them have very helpful information, the bs crap does not help and it discourages others.
If everyone does not get that our of my posts, then I probably need to get a public relations director (oh wait, that might actually be in the works )

          • Since I am obviously not a webmaster or web creator and I don't spend a a lot of time on forums, I don't know how to edit the post after I just posted it with the typo and meant "out of my posts".
But again, I'm not here for this petty crap, I have much more important things to do.

              Click Edit, then edit.

For some reason, there is a limit on how long you have to do that.

On other forums I find my typos weeks later, and edit. On some forums, I don't have any typos to begin with.

I say, "Ouch", because it is painful to be reading this, feeling all the angst, even not being involved. I really, really, do empathize, and I know how hard it is to find anyone who cares about anything that does not directly affect them.

              It's a sad, sad, thing.

As for me, I'm here for the petty crap.

To the general public the feeling would be, "Well, it is timeshare, and you deserve what you got yourself into."

No one deserves what DRI is doing, regardless of owning a timeshare or not. Its about how you treat people that's being addressed and that's what we're going to make them accountable for. Your comment makes me think of the general attitude of so many in our country today; negative. Kind of like a cancer that needs to be stopped. No offense but I don't hang with negative thinkers. Its time for everyone to be accountable for their actions, not just what they say/promise.. We are going to hold DRI accountable. If there's a will, there is a way!

Oh yeah, I already said that, and we all already knew that.

I can't access the video you are referring to. It's marked as private.

The board voted for the assessment and the payment terms so you can't blame Diamond Resorts International.

Your board members can call a special meeting and change the terms.

The objective should be to call the Board members and tell them what a crappy decision that they made and your owners are ticked off.

                                Point at Poipu Association

                                Woody Cheeks 907-696-2771
                                Jacalyn Anderson 651-486-7423 or 651-295-8252
Troy Magdos - Jason Toste - Kathy Wheeler

There was a post earlier that one of the board members in both associations may have resigned - a Diamond Resorts International employee. That would leave the boards somewhat even and the remaining board members could recall this assessment until a better plan is worked out.
