Please post a reminder. If I am in the mood to watch a trainwreck this will do.

Tell you what though, assuming SC is on a poster up on the wall at each resort's lobby, how can this work?

When UB started, it was a great hit, and we loved it.

Funny thing is DRI is one of the developer controled resorts who won't give owners address or emails of other owners because they don't want to violate anyone's privacy rights.

We got one too but we stayed there once on a promotion to take a tour that we didn't take take after all because my husband had the stroke the same day that we checked in at this resort.

DRI treated me very well as they still let me stay there without taking the tour and for the same price of the promotion plus they got me a car rental for over a month at their very special rate plus the manager called me at night to find out how my husband was doing and sent a very big gift basket to the hospital with lots of fruit, nuts and chocolates. I will never forget this so don't mind staying on their mailing list and want to see the program tonight.

I had the same good experience with Trading Places and timeshare forum members here and OY. There are still many kind and caring people and DRI and Trading Places were as a Corporation too.

I started getting emails from DRI about 6 weeks ago, how did they find us?

I received the same email and have never stayed at a Diamond Resort but used to own two weeks at Flamingo in St. Marteen when it was part of Sunttera. Only thing is I sold both weeks more that seven years ago.

                            Impressed

Well, I can say I was most impressed. His getup was so bad, but they didn't know who he was. I can see if he was not undercover and things weren't going well he could be a hardass, but it seemes he really wanted to see what was going on and improve it. I thought he was going to blow a gasket at the call center but instead of yelling he said she needed more training. He couldn't get over the fact that there weren't rooms available for people when they called in and wanted certain dates. Now he knows how we feel!! He wasn't happy when he was at Powhatan and the first thing he saw was a door that needed sprucing up. He sure wasn't a handy man, that's for sure. but he tried, bless his little ole heart. He is used to a live of luxury so this should be fun to see what happens.

I think the things he wants to do to make things a first class resort will be more expensive than he realizes and could end up with assesments but I was amazed at how he helped out the 4 people he came to work with. He really did change 4 lives.

I hope things improve for you owners and in turn it should help all the exchangers.
