Sunterra Sales Conversion changes

A recent conversion by a TUGger reports the following:

• Converted a Wk35 4BR to 11,000 SunOptions
• Required to buy 3000 additional SunOptions for $10K
• 'Traded in' an unwanted biennial timeshare for $3400 credit
• Offered the following 'perks'
  • $300 off next years MFs
  • 3000 one time use '07 points for $195
  • 'Free' '07 week at Powhatan or Greensprings for a nominal $100 cleaning fee.

New here is the fact that they took a unit in trade, owner had bought it resale for $1K, so was fairly happy with the trade. The final result of $6600 for conversion and 3000 more SunOptions is consistent with the $7K/3000 figure that has been seen without the trade.
