I've been reading awhile here, but this is my first post. This has been quite an education, and I thank you. We recently joined Club Sunterra and brought our resale Powhatan deed into points while keeping our deed, and obtained Silver Elite Status. We just received our membership. We did this through the retail sales office in Williamsburg. Since then we have bought a resale unit a Greensprings representing 13,000 points. It will bring us to Gold member status if we bring the deed into club. My questions: We're buying week 23 (June 10-17); should we bring this to Club after that date? I understand we will get the points this year, 2007, if we bring them into club before June 30. Is this true and will this be possible? Is it worth it to bring this deed into club, or would it be wise to buy additional unit(s) and bring them in all together at the same time to go to platinum elite? We're just starting retirement, so we hope to be travelling a lot during the next 5-10 years. We really don't intend to stay at Greensprings, and bought because the price seemed right and it offers a lot of points for the MF. I'm not sure what other questions I should bring here, and I thank you for your experiance and wisdom.

Wow, Spence, you are right! That was us on Jan 29th. Thank you for your quick response. Should I call the salesperson who brought us into the Club and see about the options you spoke of, or should I call Corporate? After listening to at least 5 sales presentations over the years at Sunterra, we finally found the person who I believe gives direct answers and doesn't confuse us like they're "trained" (I believe) to do! Off topic, but I just got the new SunGlances yesterday and see the re-done resort, Misiones at Cabo, is there. It's not in the SunOptions directory, but I'm curious about it.
