If I bring in say a 10,000k CSV-1 account into my existing CS memberhip account, will I lose the 13-mo priority to the 19 resorts covered by the CSV-1?

No, you will have 10,000 points with 13month priority called Home Club Advantage - HCA and whatever Home Resort Advantage - HRA you have on your other points.

Here's the rub, depending on where you own, this may or may not affect you... If I make a reservation at Powhatan at the 11month mark where I have deeds that yield 12month HRA and Trust contracts that yield 13month HCA, there is no facility to choose which I want to use (say I wanted to save my HCA for some holiday Caribbean reservations down the line) I may have used up all my HCA without knowing it, thinking I was using HRA for those 11month Powhatan reservations. Complicated. I tried one time to split my account to have one with all my Trust contracts and one with my deeds, and it failed miserably in the bowels of Sunterra's IT systems.

I guess if I only have say 5k and a CSV-1 resort stay requires 8k, I would have trouble using a 13-mo HCA. Not cool. If one wants to take advantage of he HCA, really needs to get more than a measily 4k CSV-1 acct
