  • New CLUB member-anyway to speed up II membership?

    I bought into the club around Aug 2007 with 2008 pts. I still do NOT have II membership yet. I have been contacting DRI/Sunterra cust svc since Nov 2007, still no results. They keep saying request has been made to II, but no results. No notes on my acct as to why things are dragging.

    Any ideas???

    PM me full name, Club#, Phone#; and I'll see what I can do. There are some things going on with Club and II right now and you may have fallen in a crack, we'll see if we can get you out.

        yeh I will if it comes down to that - I am seeing what uncle spence can do for me, first.

        I am not 100% in a rush to use II yet, but not having access for so long blows since I am eager to see what available summer months I can get with CLUB II vs. my Marriott II acct.

          I'm in the same position Winger I can't even get billed for my club dues so I'm not even on the waiting list for a number yet! I asked if I could do anything and was told I couldn't do anything to speed up the process, I find it odd that a timeshare company refused to take more money from me, make that very odd.

            why can't they take your CLUB dues ? They need this to pay II. II won't give you membership unless they are paid first! They have my CLUB dues, so i am in a slightly different boat.

            For you, talk to a supervisor. This is absolute BS

              If you bought from a DRI sales person call that person to call club that worked for one of my problems.
              When I bought from E-bay it took 9 month to get my bill, I was already a club member so getting in to II was not a problem.

                My DRI person was a Polo Towers sales mgr, who has since left the DRI. I will try the Polo sales ofc or supervisor at DRI Cust Svc if I do not get any results withing the next two weeks.

                  Well I just got off the phone and my Interval request was put in
                  on the Jan 14th, I was told however I might not be billed my Club
                  dues until Feb.

                  Maybe I'm special and don't have to pay for Trust Points this thought
                  makes me want to go out and buy more!

                    When I bought from E-bay in the fall 2 years ago I did not get the bill for the trust Points for about 9 months.

                      I had a few mins on my hand today so I called II's membership desk and they found my CLUB member# (setup up over one week ago). I then called DRI and a cust rep was able to walk me thru setting up my II acct at the II website (intervalworld.com). I can now see/make CLUB II reservations! I still get the crummy message on the dri.com site's II link that my II acct has not been setup in the system yet.

                      So does anyone want to venture how long it's gonna take DRI to link my II acct to their website? I say 3 months from now, anyone else???
