Sea Mountain, Punalu'u - Hawaii Big Island

A couple days ago, we drove along the southern part of the big island and stopped at the black sand beach in Punalu'u. We noticed the golf course and condo units in Punalu'u and thought it would be cool to stay there on a future trip. When we got back to our resort, we noticed that it was a Sunterra resort.

What's availability like for Club members to reserve there and how much inventory do they have? Anyone stay there and can comment on what the resort/amenities are like?

It's actually a Vacation Internationale resort. The availability to Sunterra/Diamond members is quite limited.

Through VI Sea Mountain

is quite available.
And yes, it is a great location for seeing the south end of the island along with the Hilo and volcano area.
