Any idea ? what is the processing fee to redeem the points to maintance fee?

I was curious if anyone knows how the credit card rewards points convert into SunOptions (club points). How many credit card rewards points does it take to make a club point?

I was sort of wondering the same thing. I didn't see a lot of information on the Chase website that explained how the card worked and I haven't found that information on the DRI website yet either. To be honest, I haven't looked that hard yet. As it is I have to many reward type CC that only are used infrequently to keep different accounts active.

Yes, not too much information about reward in the chase.com.

I applied the credit card but I haven't received the reward information yet.

I want to use the credit card points and pay for my maintenance fee.
$10000 points = $100 maintenance fee

I called to the credit card customer service. He told me they only send the certificate to my home. But they don't know how to process or use the certificate.

Anybody has the experience how to process or use the certificate?

I feel very frustrated. I called to chase reward dept. He told me to call diamond resort customer service. I talked to diamond customer service, he told me to call chase credit card customer service. After 30 minutes talking and waiting, my phone line transfer to other customer service. After transfer and transfer and repeat and repeat, the phone line got cut off.

There are far better reward cards out there. I recommend scrapping them all and getting the best - an American Express Blue cash rewards card. Once a year it pays cash back. You earn that reward based on how much you spend. It is possible to earn well over $1000 annually, based on your spending. That would pay more than a full year of a Powhatan 4BR's annual MF. Check out the AMEX site for the details of how the card works.

Did you receive your credit card, did it give specifics about how many reward points it takes to create a sunoption? In the link previously mentioned it said that it takes 19,500 reward points to get 3000 sunoptions. Is this still accurate?

Yes, I recevied it.

For gift card (ex. Home Depot, Macy's , Borders, Best Buy ...etc & Manintenance /club certificates

2500 points = $25
5000 points = $50
10000 points = $100

I only redeem for gift cards (for few times). I received the gift cards within 3 to 5 business days. Pretty good & fast!!

For Points Certificates
6500 points = 1000 the club points
19500 points = 3000 the club points


I haven't redeem the maintenance fees yet. Does anybody redeem the manintenance fees and dues certificates? How much does it cost the process fee? How does it work?
