  • DRI Won't Take my Money

    Does anyone know the physical location of DRI? I believe it's in Vegas but where?
    Last year we purchased a unit in Polo Towers Suites. The deed was transferred to our names on August 21. We received a letter from DRI confirming that the transfer of ownership was completed at DRI on 20 November. I know that the maintenance fees for 2008 are due, but I have been unable to contact DRI to pay them. It is impossible to pay via internet without an account number, which I have never received. Attempting to reach DRI by phone also proves unsuccessful, as their automated system will not let me do anything without the account number, and it is impossible to talk to a real live human being via the phone number. Multiple emails to DRI have gone unanswered. I even emailed DRI from the ask CEO link on their website but got no response.
    I contacted Polo Towers directly on January 7 and was told that they could not do anything as everything was sent to DRI. They did at least verify that the account had been transferred into our names. I asked Mary, the customer service rep I spoke to at Polo Towers, how was I suppossed to pay the maintenance fee as I surely did not want to have to pay a late fee. She told me I had to wait until DRI contacted me with a bill and that I would not get charged a late fee as I had never received a bill prior to the end of the year. Yeah right!
    We will be at Polo Towers next week on a SFX exchange and I am going to try to find the DRI offices and get this straightened out. I will appreciate any help. Thanks

    I would again try all the methods shown below. You can get through their phne maze without entering phone#, account#, or zip...... just press #sign.

      Thanks Spence. Pressing the # key from the phone menu worked! I had tried pressing the "0" key from the menu before as I know that works sometimes but it didn't for this menu. Anyway I talked to a live person (very friendly and helpful) and everything is in order now. Thanks again.
