I had to respond to your message. Two months ago I was looking for a resort in Italy on DRI website. I found the Palazzo Catalani, in Viterbo. To make a long story short, I booked it for two weeks in January of 09 for 7,000 points. I told my husband that it must be a glitch knowing, like you, there is a 10 month window. I am confirmed at greatly anticipating our stay. By the way, there are 40 Resorts in Europe. This is a great "perk" to DRI ownership.
Last night I was playing around on the DRI website and was able to pull up Italy for March 2009. Oh, I wish that trip was even a possibility!

You never know what might be 'possible.' I logged in last week with my username and password that I've used every day for years. It put me into someone else's account where I could have made any reservation I wanted to with their points. That is the only time that has happened to me.
A better 'glitch' on the old site was when I figured out how to change ANYONE's reservation in the whole system. I could cancel someone else's reservation then book the fresh availability myself or I could put any guest's name on ANY reservation in their system. No one in Las Vegas believed me so they sent me a reservation# and dared me to tell them what it was for, I changed the guest to Stephen Cloobeck and wrote them to tell him to have a nice vacation last April at Kaanapali Beach Club.

Wow! The potential for evil...
I meant not possible because we (family of 7) are going to Orlando in October and then dh and I grabbed one of those Manhattan Club weeks for next February. So Italy in March was not gonna fit anywhere into the travel plans or the budget.

Yes, it's a good thing Shaggy didn't know, she might not have been able to 'resist.' I had no problem, except that it took me more than two months to get Sunterra's attention.
I logged in yesterday just to doublecheck how many points I have left and got someone else's account. I was a bit taken aback. I didn't snoop around but just logged off & tried again. I think I mistyped the first time.

If anyone else has had this problem, please speak up. When I complained, it fell on deaf ears. Barn, you couldn't have mistyped and hit on another valid username/password combo... they've got more problems.
It was a little unnerving to see "Welcome Jane Doe" with 4600 points! If you are out there, Jane, rest assured I wasn't hacking and your privacy is intact.

Has anyone else tried using the Travel section of the DRI website in the last few days?
I used it successfully last week but since Saturday, all the links are disabled. They all highlight to blue when I mouse over them (using either Safari or Firefox) but they don't do anything when clicked.
Airline Travel
Hotel Reservations
Car Rentals
Cruises
They are all just placeholders now. I checked the source code for the page (I'm a programmer by trade) and they all have been, literally, "disabled".
Meanwhile, when I called the DRI-CLUB phone number, I was disconnected twice. Once after over an hour on hold and then again after more than half an hour on hold. The Rep who finally answered said they had no other reports of this problem. Am I the only one using the Travel section? Or is it working OK for other folks?
PS - Before anyone asks: Yes, I was logged in to my account.

I sure don't have "0" for 2009 and that is NOT my member#, and I am not just a "Valued Club Member".
The name on the acct and the customer # are correct, but not the rest of the info. How to fix ???
