Let me see if I can state this so it can be understood:
The year began on a Sunday
So a Sunday Wk1 started on 1Jan
but a Fri/Sat Wk1 started almost a week later on 6Jan/7Jan
OK, pan forward to Easter week which is in Wk15 if the week starts on a Fri/Sat but Wk16 if you start on a Sunday.
Right now all these weeks are in the half price window any, but there's also a special going on for Powhatan and Greensprings in Williamsburg that discounts all bookings 50% so even nightly stays at Easter time are 50% off.
Now here's the kicker. Sunterra has Wks14/15 as Holiday weeks but not Wk16 so you can book Greensprings the week starting Fri 14Apr or the week starting Saturday 15Apr for 4500 SunOptions (half the normal Holiday rate) but if you book the week starting Easter Sunday 16Apr it's only 2500 SunOptions (half the normal Springtime rate) and there's still availability!
Now, heres the other kicker... if you try to book nightly stays during the period 16Apr -22Apr it comes up at the inflated Holiday price per night so in many cases for that week of Easter it's cheaper to book a whole week starting Sunday than it is to book most nightly stays.
