Is this true on conversion?

Just got off the phone with the 800 sales which I called at the suggestion of this forum. I was told that on May 5th a directive came out that will eliminate the ability to allow resales to convert to the club. The offsite sales office have until the end of the month (tomorrow 2PM PST) to write up the deals. All I have to do is buy 1500 points in the US Trust (19 resorts) for $3500 and $88 closing fee. I will have one year to convert a resale for free. If I buy a Greensprings Plantation summer week, I can convert for 13000 points. Any thoughts?

Buying the DRUSC Diamond Resorts US Collection fka the Florida Trust resale gets you only the Trust unless you pay to re-join THE Club.
