I want out of Sunterra/Diamond.

After years of ineptness and a lawsuit (which I won) with Sunterra. I hoped for better things with Diamond . . . but I have LESS faith in Diamond than I did with Sunterra. I want out.

I have 6 semiannual 1 BR DEEDS at Bent Creek Golf Village. I am NOT in the trust.

Would you please advise me of my options? Thanks!

If you want to dump them you can put them on eBay for $1.
You also might try devbuyback and see what they'll give you.

FWIW, while not really very happy with the direction DRI and their customer service has taken, I'm still hanging in there for one reason and one reason only. That being DRI points trade very well with I.I. At least they do for now and, knowing Mr. Cloobeck and his ability to cut deals they will continue to trade well. Polo Towers has already been through the big SA. I do have concerns about the Villa's but, at this point they're apparently in decent enough condition it won't be an immeadiate concern.

Unless you're using those studio's for personal usage I'm not certain you'll find a better exchanging unit for what you'll get out of your 1 bedroom units at Bent Creek Golf Village.

Does DRI even manage that resort? Even though it's listed as a DRI resort, they might not be managing it anymore. I know that Gatlinburg Town Square has some units that can internal exchange through DRI but GTS is managed by Summer Bay now. Sunterra lost the management contract at that resort some time back.

If DRI doesn't manage Bent Creek then the only thing you'd have to do is drop your THE Club membership and you'll be shed of DRI without selling your units.
