Any way to request?

Is there any way to put in an ongoing request with Diamond? I have a reservation for Avila Beach in June and would like to reserve a 1 bedroom for few of the days we're there for my parents to come up. At this point, there is no availability and, other than checking every hour on the hour to see if someone has canceled a reservation, is there no way to be notified by Diamond if a unit does open up? The voice on the other end of the phone says no.

That is the current correct answer, maybe enough requests for a "wait list" will make them make that "improvement," too.
