Bonus Time

Can someone tell me about bonus time,
I know that 59s days before check in is at half the points, but what are the 30 days prior check in dates that are referred to as getaways, and what is the last minute bonus time, are the points reduced even further or does it have to do with only requiring a 2 day stay.

I'm fuzzy on the timeline, I think it's 15days prior to check in... Bonus Time is CASH not points.
