Has anyone stayed at this resort lately? All the reviews on Tug are old, and the reviews on tripadvisor are from renters and are very mixed.
Thanks for any info!
i was there in JUNE...STAY AWAY. It was awful. Dirty, smelly, run down poor service. did i say, STAY AWAY? We left a day early and went to the Hilton in PHX. This is not a Diamond Managed Property.

Wow! If it is that bad, I wonder why diamond resorts are affiliated with the resort. You would think they wouldnt offer it to their owners of the club. Thanks for your reply!
Its crazy how some of the reviews say how nice it is, and that it is the best place in Lake Havasu to stay, and some say it is aweful. I would hope that DRI would not keep a terrible resort on our list of options, but it is also very few points to stay there. I would be going for only 3 nights, and it works out to cost me less than 30 a night for a 2 bedroom.
Maybe it's fluff? to have many affiliates on the list to make it that much more appealing to join the Club ?
It is sad how DRI allows for any subpar resort to be remain on the list of resorts its members are allowed to choose from.
Actually there was a resort in SoCal that was off the list for awhile.

I've had guests there who called to ask to extend their stay, no complaints, everyone is different with different expectations and experiences.
I believe the one taken off this list in So. California for several weeks last year was the Marquis Villas Resort. It is in downtown Palm Springs, and one of our favorite places. Go figure...maybe says something about our non-discriminating taste. The Marquis Villas is not 100% DRI, and didn't have a sales center last time we were there earlier this year. The part that wasn't DRI was in financial trouble and I believe was being handled by a receiver.

I was there a couple of years ago. Wasn't "great" but was decent. London Bridge comes from EPIC Resorts fame and managed mostly by the previous owner of EPIC. I don't believe its an affiliation but more or less DRI has it in its system because there are some owners that came with it.
