    What do you think of the above resort's trading power during the "Red" season? I really didn't need anymore timeshares but could not resist bidding on the above TS as the mf is only $447 a year for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit, float, gold crown.

    I won this item today on a bid and wondered if it has good trading power with RCI during Red season.

    Also, is it worth joining the Diamond Club? They were asking over $5,000 + for it and I thought that was steep. What is the advantage of this aside from turning your week into points so that you can chop your vacation and trade with other resorts?

    $447 cannot be the right MF amount, cannot. They either have the MF or the SIZE wrong, so you can get out of your deal. Highest time other than Super Bowl is MARCH Spring Training. Just RED season means little.

    $2995 has been the no points figure in the past, $5000 usually came with 2000 extra points on conversion.

      Yes, I believe they messed up on e-bay. I have bought from this guy before so he should (hopefully) let me out as he sells many timeshares on e-bay. I realized that something was wrong when I started thinking 750 s.f., the amount of the MF and after seeing Redweek stating that 2 bedrooms holds 6-8, this unit I purchased sounds more like a 1 bedroom.

      The $5,500 is with 2,000 points as the sales lady from DR told me I have to have 2,000 points more to get in.

      From the sound of your post, you probably do not think this resort is a good trade value. I definitely will try to back out if this is a 1 bedroom. Not sure if it's worth it if it's a 2 bedroom, I guess it depends on the MF.

        I just looked at ebay sales and though I could not find your purchase a 2 Bedroom even year usage with a fee of $447 payable every year was listed.

          This wonderful vacation home (deeded #133F) is part of the resort's “Floating” system, which means that each year when you call to choose your week you will then be assigned your unit, but you will always get at least a large two bedroom vacation home referred to as the “Deluxe” unit. These beautifully appointed homes are fully equipped with a full kitchen and two full baths, a romantic Jacuzzi tub, a washer & dryer, plus a lovely fireplace. With 750 square feet of living area, the whole family (up to four people) will sleep comfortably in this spacious condo. All homes at this resort are professionally decorated and fully equipped with everything you'll need to make your stay one you'll remember for a lifetime including all kitchenware, towels, linens, pillows, blankets, etc. All you will need to do is show up and enjoy!


          The Week
          The week is also in the resort's "Floating" system, which simply means that you can call the resort each year and choose the week that suits you best for that year….ANY WEEK! Once you reserve your week you can use it yourself or you can trade your PRIME RED week for one of over 6,600 resorts in the RCI Exchange System (code is 4041) or the Interval International Exchange System (code is SVG & SV2) as it is affiliated with both. The trading power is really excellent as this area is very popular year round. The week has had an excellent trading history for places like Orlando, Myrtle Beach, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, South Padre Island, and many others.           There is no mortgage on this timeshare. Maintenance and taxes are up to date. You will receive a Warranty Deed, which means that you are guaranteed free and clear title with no encumbrances.
