What's with DRI and the newest offerings? I don't consider any of the latest acquisitions to be on my "hot-spot" list!

What's with DRI and the newest offerings? I don't consider any of the latest acquisitions to be on my "hot-spot" list!

Well - over at the DRI Forums European members have been complaining because they don't think DRI has added enough resorts in Europe. Which, of course, just shows that you can't please all of the people all of the time, or some of the people all of the time, but maybe some of the people some of the time, and occasionally none of the people some of the time, but you really have to be trying to please none of the people none of the time. And, as Roseann Roseannadanna would say, "It just goes to show you it's always something."

But, like Roseann I digress. Both of the new locations are locations we are interested in visiting sometime.

SORRY! I didn't think about our European owners! While the newest offerings aren't places we are likely to visit, hopefully, they will be appealing to those of you on the other side of the ocean.

These sound very, very nice, but the $75 per person per night charge is not very nice. For a 7 night stay that would be $1050 for my wife and me.That is steep. However, maybe this is a whole new level of service that is beyond the regular timeshare experience. I will be checking it out.

$75 per per person per day is a pretty typical charge for an all-inclusive resort.

Like you, I have no interest in that. But there are many people who like all-inclusive packages and gladly pay that much (or more).
