  • Not part of the Club but have points?

    Resort Polo Towers Villas
    Week 44
    Unit 2 Bedroom Lock-off
    Season Red
    Points 14,500
    Status Active

When I login to my account on https://www.diamondresorts.com/ above is what shows. The thing is I am not a member of anything accept II. I bought a 2br at the Villas a while ago and ignored the telemarketers that kept calling me asking to send a salesman to my house. So if I joined the Club would this be how many points I would have? I

Very likely yes. You'd have 14,500 pts

BUT remember to join the "club" you'll have to one of two things:
-Pay ~$3000 for DRI to convert you ownership to the club
or Pay about $5000 and buy a minumum number of more points and at the same time convert your ownership into the "club"

    Hope that helps
    Bill

For right now I will say no thank you. Unless there is a big savings on MF I'm not interested. I have trouble now just using the time I have.

      Thanks for the information Bill.

All units, whether they are associated with THE Club or not, are showing points. You do not have points unless you have converted and are paying the yearly membership dues. This is a glitch in the system or, it's a sales ploy to get you to see what you could have if you only converted to their points based reservation system.

I am confused. How can you even log into the DRI website if you are not a member of the club? Why would you want to? What is there for you to do there? If you own at a resort, don't you call the resort itself to make reservations there, or call II to deposit your week? Is there a part of the website reserved for owners of DRI developed resorts that club members don't see? DRI gets more confusing every day!

I believe, from what I've read, that all DRI owners have access to the website. I don't believe it's for Club members or Trust owners only.

One reason would be to pay MF's online. Another would be access to the DRI run forums on their web site. There is also information about how MF's are used.

Plus, it also allows deeded week owners to see what they might have if they converted to THE Club. Sort of a subtle sales technique. There's no reason for deeded week owners to not have access to the site, even if you might not see a lot of value in deeded week owners visiting the site.

I Own 1 Deeded Week At The KBV Resort

I am not a member of The Club. I have access to the DRI website and use it just like Doug said here. I also have posted on the Forum.

I thought that the site was entirely for trading or selling your points. I didn't realize that there was any useful functionality for owners / non-club members. Thanks for the info.

I don't know. I never went to the site until after I had joined THE Club. I would suspect that, if allowed to create an account, one could see availability within THE Club. It would a way to generate interest and increase sales.

Ah something I can answer finally LOL. I can't see availability or how many points it costs to stay somewhere. If I click on it I just return back to my profile.
