I'm making reservations for a friend and will not be staying at the resort. Once I make the reservations, does anyone know how I get a guest certificate? Is the policy still - first one's free?
Thanks to all. In the past we've always taken vacations together and stayed at the same resort. So I could keep all the reservations in my name and avoid the hassle.

It's not really a guest "certificate". What you actually do is ask a CSR at DRI to change the name on the reservation to that of your guest.

No, they have not begun to charge yet for this service.

and you can do it online, "View" the reservation, then change the name to your guest. My understanding is that the software isn't ready to run the charges, but the enhancment is coming.
