Question...Cost to get resale points into the CLUB

I already am a member of the CLUB and in the Hawaii group. I want to buy another group of points (10000) in the US collection. I called DRI and they stated that to get the 10000 US collection points into the CLUB to combine with my existing points, I would need to buy an additional 2000 points from them at $2.49 per point or pay $2995 CLUB Fee. Anyone else get a better deal from DRI, I have heard this is a moving target. I originally bought from the developer and was mad that they won't add any resale points without more money. Help me with any other avenues. Thanks.

It is a moving target but $2995 is the base cost and lower prices haven't been seen for years.

$2995 sounds like a deal for 10,000 points.

The $2995 does not include any points. The OP would have to already own a trust interest or a deed that would be worth 10,000 points if added to the Club. The OP then pays the $2995 to get that trust interest or deed added to the Club.

Yes, I knew OP would have to pay for the 10,000 points they bought resale, but that would still be a drop in the bucket along with the $2995 compared to the $2.49 per point.

Just curious - Since maddy owns with the Hawaii collection and the extra points are in the US collection - does that mean two separate MFs will be owed?

Yes - but more significantly Maddy will now be paying two trust fees.

$2,995 is the lowest price you'll be quoted by DRI. It's refreshing to read that someone was given this option up front rather than running a guantlet of other options that include buying more points before arriving at the real rock bottom price.
