Well I got two completely different answers to my question from Diamond, shocker! I'm wanting to send my parents to Hawaii using a CLUB property. Do I have to be there to check them in? One person told me that I had to be present at check in since I am using the CLUB. Another told me to just list my parents name and I don't have to be there. Anyone know? I would HATE to send my parents there and they give them the run around at check in. I booked at KAHANA FALLS MAUI, I think it is a RCI property. Anyone stay there before? Thanks for any info.

I'm pretty sure you can put the reservation in their name. Seems to me I have done that in the past for use by my brother. There was no cost involved. The legitimate object of Government is to do for a community of people whatever they need to have done but cannot do at all or cannot do so well for themselves”- Lincoln

Failing that, another option might be to add their name to the list of people allowed to use your account.“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”
“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”
“You shouldn't wear that body.”

You can cancel Club Select Reservations
Originally posted by SpenceThat's what I guessed, unfortunately, you can't cancel a Club Select reservation and recoup the points or $.
I have canceled a Club Select reservation before and I was given all of my points back. I think the regular club rules apply to when you cancel your reservation.

Add Additional Guest
Enter additional guest information below.
When finished click 'Save & Continue'.
If you do not have an additional guest, select 'No Additional Guests' to continue.
THE Club® Select does not provide an opportunity for "alternative" guests (guests to arrive instead of you - the reserving party). However, we encourage you to add names of adult guests traveling with you - as "additional" guests. Those names will be provided to the resort as in-bound guests for check-in purposes, along with your name. We hope each one of you enjoys your THE Club® Select vacation.Originally posted by Carlos View PostSpence,

The cancellation policy for THE Club SelectSM reservation, using points, follows the same rules as THE ClubSM reservations. They are as follows:
If the reservation is cancelled 60 days in advance, 100 percent of the points will be returned
If the reservation is cancelled 59-30 days in advance,75 percent of the points will be forfeited
If you cancel 29-14 days in advance, 50 percent of the points will be forfeited
If you cancel 13 days in advance, all of the points will be forfeited
When making a reservtion for THE Club SelectSM using a credit card instead of points, the reservation cancellation guidelines are as follows:
If the reservation is cancelled 8 or more days prior to check-in, the cost of 1 night of stay is forfeited
If the reservation is cancelled 3-7 days prior to check-in, 50% of the cost of stay is forfeited
If the reservation is cancelled less than 3 days prior to check-in, 100% of the cost of stay is forfeited.
