I am so glad that you are EXPERIENCED WDWers. It will make all the difference in the world. And I will stop worrying about you. Especially with backing it up with a cruise. What a great idea that is!

Yeah when you get your Disney vacation completely paid for with a (more than) generous gift of timeshare points, it really allows for the wallet to open up a bit more and created the possibility of the cruise. As a college student getting married (admittedly) very young, I've been working my butt off this summer to save a few bucks so we can enjoy ourselves without freaking out about the cost.

I've never checked in late, so I can't speak to that. It *should* work if you call Member Services and have a note placed in your folio. I would still check in online in advance (with a CC #), and then try to get the resort's front desk on your nominal check-in day just to remind them of your situation.
