  • What to do? DVC/RCI next steps

    Hi guys,

I was on here pretty often over the summer when I was trying to secure a DVC resort through HGVC->RCI for my honeymoon on July 10-17. I'm pleased to say that I was successful in getting a 1 bedroom at Old Key West resort, and I have a question on where to go from here.

I'd like to be able to view this reservation on the Walt Disney World website so I can add dining options and other services over the internet, but I don't have the Disney confirmation number for my reservation.

    1. Should I be calling Hilton, RCI, DVC, or Disney's central booking to retrieve that number, if it's even possible?

    2. Will I be able to add park admission to my room key like "regular" Disney resort guests do, or will I have to purchase my Park Hoppers separately?

    3. Will I hit any snags when adding Magical Express and/or Disney Dining, if we decide to go that route?

    Thanks boys and girls!

Call DVC's Member services. It is the 800 number on your exchange confirmation. They can give you the reservation number, hook you up for ME, DDP, etc. You will be treated like any other on-property guest; you are eligible for ME, the dining plan, can put tickets on your room key, etc. You can purchase tickets from Disney, but it is often slightly less expensive to get them from a ticket broker such as Undercover Tourist.
