So, looks like moving forward in 2012, we'll see more and more of BLT.

Forgive my ignorance. Where is this property? Since Brian is kind enough to dedicate his time to the Orlando properties and I do "not in Orlando", I'd like to know who this particular resort belongs to.

Bay Lake Tower is the newest DVC property in Disney World. Its located right next to The Contemporary Resort and Magic Kingdom.

Happily is not mine to watch. For all I know or care it could have been in Anaheim. Pays to make sure I didn't have a new one to watch for. Thanks

That's exciting news...would love to try it but really love the Beach Club so I wonder if that will top it!

Not yet, but it is expected to sometime this year based on current trajectory.

I am still blown away by the anticipated sell out of that place. They are raising the cost to $140pp on June 8. I can't figure out for the life of me why anyone would buy it for that.

It's all Magical and Pixie-Dusty.

More seriously: it's within walking distance of the Magic Kingdom. Not everyone finds that compelling, but you don't need to sell to everyone.

That's why there are golf resorts, ski resorts, resorts in historical areas, resorts on the beach, etc.....each has their target audience (client base). Heck, even in the DVC circles, the various resorts has their different fan bases.

You don't see it sitting online but it is possible to get with an Ongoing search (OGS).
Maybe less so now that the mouse has changed his deposit habits to mostly SSR.
