  • Disney's Old Key West

My family of 8 will be staying in Sept. 2012 at Disney's Old Key West in a 2 BR villa for 3 weeks! My question is regarding which Building Numbers people have stayed at or would recommend for our family.
No one is handicap but 4 are Special Needs children. They are very active.Ages 4-10.
    We will be without transportation.
It would be nice to have something that has a nice view, close to pool, close to restaurant, bus stop, etc.
Has anyone stayed there that could recommend which building we should request or which ones to avoid due to noisy, bus route, etc.
    Thanks!

I haven't been, but here is a link to a map of the resort. Old Key West Resort

The buildings around the hospitality house tend to be in higher demand. People looking for a quiet area usually request rooms by turtle pond.

The Hospitality house buildings are a guaranteed booking category for DVC members so if you're staying on an exchange, I don't think you would be placed there.

For close to a quiet pool, bus stop, and the main pool, we like the Millers Road area. You wouldn't want the very back buildings on Millers Road, though, if you wanted to be close to the main pool.
