  • Handicapped Parking

Is there ample handicapped parking at the Disney parks? Is it really helpful or would just getting regular parking and riding shuttles be easier? This is for someone that can walk, but not real far.

    Thanks,
    Nancy

As Frank says the early bird gets served at Disney.
They do have a lot of spaces but there are also a lot more people with decals.
Best to get to the parks at Rope drop for handicap parking and scooter rentals.

At the resorts it's not an issue because valet parking is free for handicap decals.

Another thought, is there the ability to drop off the person who can't walk far, park, and then meet up with them if the handicapped parking is full?

Yes, Disney is very accommodating to handicap persons.
You'd just have to tell the security what your intentions are.

Parking at TTC is the most difficult. Your better off parking in the regular lot and asking the attendant for a spot on the end where the tram runs.
