Chicago - Heres your chance to preview an Animal Kingdom Villa

Disney's Doorway to Dreams Preview Center is a first-of-its-kind, interactive
retail concept showcasing the magic of Disney Vacation Club membership.

The store, which officially opened August. 4, 2007, in suburban Chicago's
Woodfield Mall, Schaumburg IL features a full-scale two-bedroom vacation
model home representing accommodations at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas.

It will be interesting to see if this is successful at procuring buyers. If it is, I could see other companies following suit. Where could we look for results of this scheme?

The Schaumberg/Arlington Height area actually has a fairly large population of affluent families with children. When I worked in Chicago, it seemed that's where yuppies moved to after they had children. I really doubt anyone would buy a timeshare based on a presentation in a mall hundreds of miles away from Orlando. I think the best they could hope for is people would sign up for package deals to Disney where they would be required to do a regular tour.
