          I think it's only for the people staying at YC/BCV. However, last time we were at the Boardwalk, we strolled over, and no one stopped us. It wasn't a busy time of the year, tho. Things are probably different when it's busy.

          The Boardwalk, and Disney Beach Club Villas, are in easy walking distance of each other.

            It used to be that anyone staying in a DVC resort on DVC points was allowed to use all the hotel pools, including Storm-a-long Bay. Now, however, Storm-a-long Bay is restricted to Beach Club/ Yacht Club guests only. (The Animal Kingdom pools are also restricted.) Storm-a-long Bay has a wrist-band system, with Disney staff checking room keys until about 5 pm in the day, and maybe later when it's crowded.
