  • Disney: what is a good price to pay, per point?

This is a rental question. To rent a point for one year, what is a good price? Is it $9 or $10 a point? I thought I saw $7 per point somewhere, but the owner never wrote me back.

The going rate is $10 per point sometimes $11 or $12 and sometimes lower.

The only time I've seen something really low like $8 is when the points were going to expire soon so the owner wanted a quick rental.

There is a lot of Disney info at www.disboards.com which has a DVC forum.

    Aloha,
    Jen

I agree, the DIS is a great place for lots of info. The person who offered points for $7.00 per point was probably bombarded with emails.

it varies from $10 to $14 a point.

$14 for the epcot resorts - they are more in demand.

you can get OKW for $10 a point.

You have to check DIS frequenly to get anything less than $10 per point. With the new transfer rule....it may go higher.
