  • Rental ?

What is a good price to offer on a Disney Boardwalk 2 bedroom for Aug 7-14? I have found one for rent, but want to offer a fair price taking into consideration that vacations will be limited this year.
Thanks for any advise you are able to offer

Anything under $2,100 is a good deal, under $1,400 is a great deal, under $1,000 is a steal

Under $1,000 for a DVC 2BR would probably mean you were NOT renting from an owner but from a person who exchanged in. If there is mention in the ad about a $95 fee or guest certificate - avoid the rental as it is against most exchange companies rules to rent an exchange and u could be denied use of the week.

What is done between friends is kept between friends - your original post seems to indicate you are seeing this rental on a commercial site (RedWeek, TUG, etc.)
I would think that even with this economy there woiuld not be that great a discount; a DVC owner might rent for less then the 'usual' $10-12 per point.

$1,800-$2,000 would be my guess - let us know how u make out.

Well that week cost 350 points for a preferred view and 306 for a standard view. A typical DVC owner will usually rent points for about $10 each. So, I would tell you a "going" price would either be $3,060 or $3,500 depending on the view.

Ask the seller what view - if they can't tell you then I would only assume this is a person trying to sell an exchange and that could get them into trouble and you without a room.
