So I just confirmed an Exchange for next Spring Break! It's a one bedroom, and the confirmation says 14S.

Anyone know where this is? Does it have a washer/dryer?

Any other words of wisdom?

I think all one bedrooms at Disney have a washer and dryer.

I believe that's a room type, not a unit number, and it may also encode check-in day. All 1BRs have a washer/dryer in unit---stackable at SSR.

I ws just there for my second time ....just LOVE it!

We asked for and got the Congress Park section - which was VERY conveneient for walking to DTD for shopping and restaurants and also taking buses to the other resorts.
There are buses from right in SSR to go to the parks but we liked to visit the other resorts as well - so it was quick and easy from DTD.

Yes, washer/dryers in the 1,2,3BRs - just not the studios but there was free washer/dryers conveniently located at the pool areas...a great idea!

Did this last trip without a car....no problem using magial express.....I would look into a grocery delivery service like 'fresh direct' as the grocery selection was very limited - on the other hand, u could also take a taxi to a grocery store.... but u definitely don't need a car.

Saratoga is my home resort. All 1 bedrooms have a stackable washer and dryer like Brian said. Our favorite sections are Grandstand, the Springs, and Congress Park.

We sometimes will walk from Downtown Disney over to Hotel Plaza Boulevard (the Downtown Disney hotels) to SR 535 to the Crossroads shopping area. It's about a 20 minute walk from Downtown Disney. There's a Goodings grocery store, Flippers Pizza, Fridays, and numerous other restaurants and shops at Crossroads.

We have stayed at SSR numerous times with II trades.

The number is not a unit number.

You can call Disney (number on your confirmation) and request:
Magical Express - no need for a car

Disney Dining - research - cost saving for some and not for others

Location - not guaranteed. Congress Park is closest to Downtown. Springs
is closest to main pool and restaurants. All others are not bad - but these are the two in my opinion are worth requesting.

Crib - If you need one - you can request - limited number.

As for groceries. We always use Marge at Wegoshop.com she is wonderful!
