  • Orlando HGVCs: layout question

I'm wondering which, if any, of the Orlando HGVCs have two separate beds (sofabed is okay) in the 2nd bedroom. It looks like I-Drive does not, but Sea World *might*, but only in some of the units---the ones that sleep 8/6. I can't find any information on Parc Soliel.

Just got back for the I drive Hilton on 1/8/10. We had a 3 bedroom which is really a 2 bed and a studio lockoff. The 2nd bedroom had 2 beds in it. Hope this helps.

I-drive and parc Soleile have second bedrooms with 2 beds.

That's funny, because when I called I-drive, the desk clerk was adamant that the 2nd bedroom did not have two beds.

Sigh. Yet again, no one who actually works there seems to know anything...

On I-drive, that may depend on the building and type of 2BR. We were in a "true" 2BR (a 2BR, one entry door, that had an optional studio lockout to make it a 3BR), and that had two full beds in the second bedroom. But I have heard that the regular 2BR lockouts only have a single bed in the lockout portion. However, it has been my experience that HGVC will still list both types of 2BR units as having an occupancy limit of 6 no matter the bed configuration.

The downside of the "true" 2BR was that it was on the "wing" of the U-shaped building, and therefore the view was not the best -- you end up looking at the other building, not the pool / lake.

          I hope this helps,
          Kurt

If you go to I drive, try and get into the first building. It's right by the pool and has ok parking. Parking in general there is terrible. At least if you're in building 1 you can go to guest/check in parking for overflow. We were in a building in the middle once and dh had to park all the way over by guest parking and walk. It's quite a hike.

Park Soleile was practically empty when we went there. We had the 2 br penthouse and the second bedroom we got had only one bed (this was the studio lockout). Parking is in a garage which is good/bad. You don't have to go outside to get into your car so it won't get blisteringly hot inside. Bad is that the parking spaces are teeny tiny.
