  • The Residences at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek

Good afternoon. I was wondering if anyone has stayed at this TS resort and how it compares to the Hyatt Mountain Lodge. We are planning a trip to CO for late next summer (2011) and the Residences at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek has peaked my interest.

Also of interest is the Westin Riverfront Mountain Villas - same questions.

Lastly, if anyone has an insights into how easy or difficult it is to trade into either of these resorts, that would also be helpful. We will be using a summer beach week at the Marriott in SC to trade. Any and all comments welcome. Thanks!

When we visited the Hyatt Mountain Lodge in Beaver Creek a few years back, we did walk over to the Park Hyatt - it’s a very upscale place. When we were there the PH was only hotel rooms - they took one wing of the hotel and renovated it into timeshare units - from what I've seen and read, the units are extremely nice. Here is their web site:

There are only 15 units - all 2 and 3 bedrooms. I went to check availability for you, but the HVC is down for the weekly scheduled maintenance. Are you a MB or HH owner?

Thank you for the weblink and information. We are a Myrtle Beach owner. We thought a week in CO after 4 days of rafting the Grand Canyon would be just the ticket.
