I've most of this week searching how to sale my HGVC timeshare in Las Vegas. Man, is my head swimming. I even sent inquiries to some "listing" companies, then the phone calls started. I am totally numb! Anybody got a recommendation on a legit resale company??

Have you contacted Judi?
We bought thru her, she and was great.
Also Seth Nock is recommended. Both are very often mentioned and recommended on TUG.

Seth is easy to work with. I did everything by email.
Judy seems also very easy to work with. I did speak to her on the phone but she didn't have what I was looking for at the time so went with Seth. She seemed very helpful and pleasant.
In my opinion you probably won't go wrong with either of them.

Resale purchase of hgvc value
I have been reading and so far seem to like what I hear about them. As for mf. How do they work? I am wanting 7000 points a year if the maintained fees aren't too high. Problem is I seem to see plans like that cost several thousand dollars. Could I purchase two smaller plans and combine whichwouldmakemy upfront cost much much cheaper and then still come out with the same maintenance fee structure?

From the point of the buyer, I had an excellent experience with The Timeshare Store. If you go to their site and the DVC resales is the page that comes up, scroll to the very bottom and click on other timeshare resales. The sell HGVC, Marriott and Sheraton on another site.
The integrity was there from my very first inquiry until my purchase, which was a year later. They were always available to answer questions, call the seller, etc.

For example, a 2BR week in Platinum (highest) season in LV will get you 7000 points. A 2BR week in Gold season at that same resort will get you 5000 points, and a 2BR Silver season week would only get you 3500 points -- but the MF paid for all of those weeks is the same. So if you bought two Silver season 2BR weeks you would get 7000 points (3500*2), but you would pay twice the MF as an owner of one Platinum season 2BR week, who is also getting 7000 points.
On the purchase side, a Platinum week will be more expensive than a Gold or Silver week, but you have to consider how long you plan to own. The longer you own, the more it makes sense to buy a Platinum week vs. lower-level weeks.
