Working on a valuation for an estate today and just thought I'd share a funny conversation..

There are only a few resales on on the open market for this specific property, so I thought I'd contact the onsite agent to get info on their current resale listings. I was given pricing of $29,000 to $75,000 for a 2br timeshare week!
The gentleman was very polite, but insisted that they have actually recently sold weeks here for as much as $75,000. I didn't find those sales in public records- so I guess that they just haven't closed yet!

I took a quick look at the HGVC website. If these Villas, which are on the harbour, have upscale furnishings and are fairly large (I couldn't tell the size), then he may be correct.

Captiva can be pricey.

It will be interesting to hear how you make out.
