  • HGVC Orlando also in RCI points?

I noticed that both Hiltons in Orlando say they are RCI points resorts in the online directory. How does that work?

It sure affects me because I was hoping to grab some 7,500 points exchanges there.

I don't know what 7500 points costs you, but my cousin is at HGVC International Drive right now on an EV for under $350....

I do forget about the Extra Vacations. I should check on those. I would love to use my points for other stuff.

I was just so surprised to see HGVC also as RCI points. It seems a little ridiculous to me. Why two different point systems at one resort? Are owners able to convert their weeks into points at no charge?

jjking may know the answer to this one.

        From the HGVC web site:

For each RCI Exchange Request, there is a fee of $149 for Domestic exchanges and $189 for International exchanges.

They are listed in the RCI resort directory online as RCI points resorts. I don't get it.

My exchange into HGVC Tuscany (I-Drive) in September was as an RCI Weeks exchange, not Points. I've seen it listed as points as well but it has shown up as available under Weeks.

I see them under weeks with my weeks exchanges but can no longer pull them as last-minute RCI points exchanges because they are now listed as a points resort. It seems as if they did that to keep people from grabbing cheap weeks.

Does anyone see what I mean?
