I wonder if the 1 in 4 does apply, RCI's enforcement of this seem to vary with the resort.

I say this as we booked the Westin Regina Puerto Vallarta that has a 1 in 4 year rule also a couple of years ago on an Extra Vacation. We paid $ 375.00 for the week. We had stayed there about a year earlier on an exchange with RCI. I checked with an RCI guide when I confirmed and she said they did not enforce the rule on the Extra Vacation for that resort.
We had a nice trip but I was nervous until we checked in.
